Data controller

Information processed
To provide search, we use the details you enter, such as departure city, destination, dates, competition, and traveller count, and send them to providers needed to retrieve results. Product analytics records events such as searches and clicks, with limited details such as language, search type, result count, provider, destination, or competition. For campaign attribution, it keeps basic UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content, and ID) and strips other parameters from URLs and referring pages. Free-text queries, departure city, dates, traveller count, and budget are not sent to Plausible.
Purposes
We use the data needed to respond to searches for matches and travel options, maintain site security and operation, and understand service usage in aggregate so we can improve it. Bookings and purchases take place on third-party websites.
Legal basis
The applicable basis depends on the feature: search requests are processed to provide the functionality you request; technical logs and security measures, where applicable, to pursue the legitimate interest of operating the service; and promotional communications will only be sent with your prior consent. The precise basis and scope must be verified before this notice is finalised.
Analytics
The site uses Plausible Analytics to measure visits and product events such as searches and clicks to providers. It records limited product metadata and basic campaign UTM parameters. URLs and referring pages are cleaned to exclude other parameters, including search terms. Automatic outbound-link capture is not enabled. See the cookies page for information about the applicable technical behaviour.
Email newsletter
Newsletter signup is not active yet, and Foot & Beer is not collecting email addresses for this purpose through its website. If enabled, we will request explicit consent, provide an unsubscribe option, and update this information to identify the mailing provider, data processed, and applicable retention periods.
Recipients and providers
Search details may be shared with external providers needed to retrieve results. Plausible provides analytics. Technical website providers may process connection data to host and secure the site. Purchases, bookings, and their privacy notices are handled by each external provider.
Retention
Search details are used to respond to your request and are not requested to create an account. Exact retention periods for technical and analytics records depend on provider settings and must be confirmed before this notice is finalised.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability, and withdraw consent without affecting prior processing. Contact info@footandbeer.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The controller's full identification must be available to handle these requests properly.
